Privacy policy

DOLCI by mac is a small dessert maker in Berri, South Australia. This page explains what we collect when you use this website, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and town (for a delivery), the day and time you chose, your order, and any notes or card message you write.
When a business applies to become a stockist: the business name and contact details on the form.

Why we use it

To make and deliver your order, or arrange your pickup, and to contact you about it.
To send you emails about your order (a confirmation straight after you order), and one email the day after asking if you would like to leave us a Google review. You can stop that email with the link in it.
To keep the records a business needs, such as orders and payments.

We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Who helps us

Stripe takes card payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
Resend sends our order emails.
Cloudflare runs this website and stores order records.

Keeping it safe

The whole site runs over a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure payment page and never reach us.
Order details are stored with Cloudflare and can only be seen by us, through a password-protected admin that locks after repeated wrong passwords.
We only keep what we need to make, deliver and account for your order.

Cookies and your browser

We do not use advertising cookies. While you order, your basket is kept in your browser so it is not lost if you visit another page of the site.

Your details

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you: text us on 0493 119 908 or email info@dolcibymac.com. We may need to keep some order and payment records for tax reasons.
